Music

"Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." - Psalm 33:1-3

Hepburn hosts a growing music program. Not only is music and hymn singing an essential part of the worship service, but we enjoy offering a number of different outlets for people to use their talents and voices. There is a junior choir for children, who are also at times joined by the women of the church singing together. There is a combined choir of men's and women's voices, and Hepburn also enjoys a men's chorus which blesses us with the words and melodies of old hymn favorites. These groups currently practice on an as needed basis. We also have a time of praise music at the beginning of services to set a worshipful tone for worship.
