"Born Again…to be WILD about Jesus"

Message from Mozelle Snyder ABWM President

A banner hanging at the front of the church on Women’s Sunday on September 18^th introduced the new ABWM two year theme: “Born Again…to be WILD about Jesus.”  Members of the Women’s Ministries shared their spiritual gifts as enthusiastic greeters, singers, and worship leaders.  An innovative children’s sermon reminded the 15 pint-sized participants how important they are as “sowers of the seed.”  Congregants were invited to pick a paper apple from the White Cross tree so that we could expand our territory in gathering items for Puerto Rico.  Our teen girls shared their eagerness to serve by collecting the Love Gift after the ladies donned wild hats for the skit “What is Love?”  The Christian Education Board presented 2 Bibles to students ‘moving up’ to third grade.  And a tribute to Elizabeth Ely was read for the contribution given to the Scholarship Fund at the Pennsylvania/Delaware level given in her memory.

  Pastor Mark’s message challenged us with the command to take action because Love is sacrificial.  We will continue to outwardly express what we inwardly feel about being WILD and passionate in our service for Jesus!
