Easter Sunrise Service

  On April 8th at 6:30am the congregation gathered together on the front steps of the church to celebrate Easter.  Despite thick clouds darkening the sky and a very cold winter-like breeze, church family members, friends and many visiting relatives came together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.  Hymns, scripture reading, testimony and a short meditation helped worshippers focus on the significance of Christ's resurrection in their lives.  Following the worship service, the church family moved to the Fellowship Hall for a congregational breakfast.  The church Hospitality Committee along with numerous volunteers did an excellent job serving a delicious breakfast enjoyed by all.  Through out the morning the church family experienced a sense of hope, excitement, and joy, generated by Jesus empty tomb and shared by the Christians down through the ages.
