2007 Easter Eggstreme Rocks
at Hepburn Baptist Church

On Sunday, April 1st, the Junior Youth Group (3rd grade - 6th grade) put together an Easter event for the youngest kids both at our church and their friends (2nd grade - preschoolers).  The Junior Youth Group named the event Easter Eggstreme Rocks.  The Sunday afternoon event included a massive Easter Egg Hunt, Egg Decorating, Cookie Decorating, Pin the Tail on the Bunny and a Hula-Hoop Butterfly Catch.  It was a great success with about 30 youth in attendance.  Beside all the games, the kids had a chance to hear the real Easter Story in a PowerPoint Presentation.  Fortunately many adults from the church were on hand to assist the Junior Youth Group in pulling off this exciting service project for our littlest children.  It was a terrific day.  Many pictures were taken during the event that are available to view in three photo albums (links below).  Special thanks to all those who helped to make the day such a great success.
